Philosykos seeks to express the diffusion of molecules and the energy emanating from spraying perfume. The title comes from a fragrance of the Diptyque brand inspired by the scent of a fig tree in the
heat of summer in Greece. The structure of the scent profile consists of the various stages of the tree’s growth, from the green freshness of the leaves to the warm earth. The concentrated volume of the plant’s lifetime and the coexistence of its different time stages were the chief inspiration in writing the piece.
